Why participate in ReMaTec Asia 2019
ReMaTec Asia is a great opportunity for exhibitors to meet new suppliers and to talk face to face with current suppliers. This will be the first remanufacturing fair in China and is the place where everyone comes to distribute to big and small companies
Remanufacturing in China
Sustainability is taken seriously by the central Chinese government with substantial investments in remanufacturing zones in Lingang, Wuzhou, Hejian, and Guangzhou.
An estimated 93.2 million Chinese passenger vehicles are out of warranty, this number is rising at lightning speed.
The Chinese remanufacturing infrastructure is being prepared for a substantial growth. Legal barriers and reverse logistics are the biggest obstacles for Chinese reman to emerge - but both are expected to be tackled in less than five years.
There are massive opportunities for equipment manufacturers (e.g. balancing-, parts cleaning-, surface treatment-, diagnostic equipment)
“This trade fair is a great opportunity for exhibitors to meet new business partners and to talk face-to-face with current relations. This will be the first remanufacturing fair in China and is the place where everyone comes to distribute to big and small companies.”
Xie Jianjun, Secretary General of CPRA
Guangzhou Automotive Industry
China is currently the world’s largest automotive producer, while Guangzhou is the major automobile production base and export base in China, and has obvious advantages of an industry cluster.
Guangzhou is home to the Guangzhou Automobile Industry Group Co Ltd, a Chinese state-owned joint stock holding company that owns several Chinese automakers and one of the largest vehicle manufacturers in China. GAIG has partnerships with Fiat, Honda, Isuzu, Mitsubishi, and Toyota. These partnerships allow it to produce foreign-branded products for sale in China.
“The remanufacturing of auto parts is an important part of promoting the circular economy in China, and has already become an industry with a promising future. We need a comprehensive international platform to see what’s going on in the industry.”
Guo Yuyue, deputy secretary general of Guangzhou Municipal Government
