CoremanNet nominated for prestigious award

CoremanNet, the Germany-based automotive core collection and distribution system backed by Bosch, has been nominated for a prestigious honour set up by the German government, the Bundespreis Ecodesign.
Due to be announced on November 23 the Ecodesign awards for which there are several categories, are established by the German government to promote industry’s use of sustainable practices and methods.
The nomination documents describes CoremanNet as “an international logistics network which combines innovative IT-solutions with systematic logistics for used car parts. The system enables remanufacturers to receive parts for remanufacturing at the right time at the right quality and in the right volumes. This helps to protect the environment as well as providing customers with affordable products compared to new.
“Even if we do not win, it’s an honour for CoremanNet to be among the nominees,” says Maria Bonelli, Head of Operation Process Management Remanufacturing, at CoremanNet.
