Facilitating innovation at Rematec 2015
- May 31, 2015
To promote innovation in the remanufacturing industry, Rematec 2015 introduces the Rematec InnovationLAB. The launch of this platform will bring together innovation, trends and industry developments - all in one central area on the show floor.
Designed to enable exhibitors and visitors to share their knowledge and experiences in the field of innovation, it is an inspiring environment where pioneering products and revolutionary ideas are presented.
Innovation is often given as one of the top three reasons to visit an exhibition. "New products have always been an important feature of the ReMaTec shows and the InnovationLAB adds a further dimension to the Rematec Theatre concept by adding an inspiring physical presence to the show floor where visitors come face-to-face with the latest developments in the industry."
In an effort to enhance the facilities for product presentations and to put an extra focus on the newest developments, Rematec show management has developed the new concept in cooperation with Amsterdam RAI.
In a central location on the show floor, the concept offers room to a dozen new and innovative products. Exhibiting companies were asked to submit their new products online, of which a selection will be taking centre-stage during the event.
The area will also feature a space where Dutch remanufacturing company KTB will be presenting a unique opportunity to revolutionize the European heavy duty fleet by remanufacturing a DAF WS truck engine, upgrading the engine from its original Euro 0 qualification to the stricter European emission standard of Euro IV or even Euro V. Cylinder heads, fuel pump, injectors, turbo and all the parts required for dual fuel injection will be built live on the stand.
The InnovationLAB will incorporate the successful Rematec Theatre concept, where workshops are given and where industry specialists share their technical knowledge and views on market trends and developments with show visitors. Speakers from industry associations such as FIRM, APRA and MERA will be taking part, as well as many industry leaders.
The InnovationLAB will be located at the entrance of exhibition Hall 10. The area will be free to visit for everyone attending Rematec 2015. More information and the full list of new products can be found on www.rematec.com.
