Following the renewed strategy of APRA Europe, the association has come up with the most comprehensive Rematec contribution in history. It is not by chance that this coincides with APRA Europe’s 30-year celebrations (reported in ‘The story so far').
Not that APRA Europe has not been active in the past - but this time they are even more focused on bringing value to both its members and the remanufacturing industry. It is their goal to raise more awareness of the positive contributions made by their association to the business environment of the remanufacturing industry in general - as well as the manifold benefits of being a member.
Therefore, for Rematec 2019, they prepared six experts’ speeches ranging from business opportunities to latest reverse logistics trends. Four different speakers, all renowned experts in the remanufacturing field and dedicated to APRA, presented their views on the industry and brought interesting insights on technology and market developments.
Being one of the founding members of Rematec (celebrating its 10th edition this year) and having the anniversaries in common, both joined forces for a co-hosted industry reception between Rematec and APRA Europe. This was an unprecedented event and an exceptional networking opportunity with all leading experts of the industry.
Due to their newly-constituted Brussels-based association APRA Europe AISBL, they held the first General Assembly of their members during Rematec. This was the most optimal time and place which facilitates participation of APRA Europe's members so that they had a chance to actively contribute to the future and success of the association. One of the highlights was the election of two new board members.
New booth location and stand concept
For the first time, APRA Europe's booth was in the Foyer, right in front of the entrance to the exhibition hall. This brought much more presence and the opportunity to interact more intensively with their members and other industry experts.
APRA European Symposium 2020
In addition to their Rematec activities, they already initiated plans for the next edition of the APRA European Symposium. After a very successful event in Budapest, last year, with many top-class speakers and an exciting plant visit to Remy, they are eager to exceed the previous edition.
In 2020 they are going to hold the symposium in Prague, Czech Republic, from 24 - 27 March. Save the date for this unique networking event, which includes visits to Knorr-Bremse's plants in Liberec and ZF in Frydland. Talks with proven experts have already started; APRA Europe assures they will be able to present another high-quality agenda of speeches.
