New Marketing and Communications Manager for the Rematec shows
- February 24, 2015
Amsterdam RAI, the organiser of the ReMaTec remanufacturing exhibitions in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and Las Vegas, Nevada, has announced the appointment of Sanne van Dartelen as Marketing and Communications Manager. She succeeds Eva Barten, who left Amsterdam RAI at the end of last year.
As Marketing and Communications Manager, 29 year-old Sanne van Dartelen will be responsible for marketing the two remanufacturing shows on both sides of the Atlantic through publicity and press campaigns as well as servicing print and digital media.
"On the backdrop of the rapidly increasing workload in connection with both shows, the biennial show in Amsterdam and the annual BigR/ReMaTecUSA in Las Vegas, we're delighted to welcome Sanne to the ReMaTec team," says Exhibition Manager Niels Klarenbeek of Amsterdam RAI. "With her international background and extensive business experience, she will make a significant contribution as we continue to develop these important trade events."
Born in the Netherlands, Sanne van Dartelen brings considerable international experience to the job. Having taken a management degree from the Inholland University in the Netherlands, she spent two years in South East Asia before relocating to London where she has worked for an international travel company for the past five years.
"A few months ago I decided the time had come to return to the Netherlands," she says. "I'm looking forward to getting to know the reman industry, meeting lots of exhibitors and visitors and to working with ReMaTecNews. What I have seen so far has given me a clear view the importance of remanufacturing to society - now and in the future."
