SRC’s Tim Roth switches to BBB
- February 24, 2015
Tim Roth, a prominent figure in the international remanufacturing industry and current chairman of APRA, has joined starter and alternator remanufacturer BBB of Alabama as Executive Vice President of Business Development.
Until recently Tim Roth served as President and General Manager of SRC Power Systems, a Division of SRC Holdings in Springfield, Missouri, where, over the past several years, he has occupied a number of managerial positions. He was elected chairman of APRA, the Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association, in November and will continue in the role until November 2015.
"I am excited to join a major remanufacturing organization with a proven track record and exceptional growth opportunities," Tim Roth told ReMatecNews. "My new role will include focusing on global strategy development and M&A activities. BBB has a strong and growing team with ownership and management that is focused on increasing remanufactured product offerings and the remanufacturing industry."
BBB is one of America's largest remanufacturers of starters and alternators, brake calipers and steering pumps with remanufacturing facilities in Reynosa, Mexico, and Sparta, Tennessee. Late last year the long-standing family firm was acquired by Pamplona Capital Partners, a large US private equity firm.
