Call for nominations for Remanufacturer of the Year

Rematec News, international magazine for automotive and heavy duty remanufacturing, invites nominations for the magazine’s prestigious Remanufacturer of the Year 2015. This year’s Award winner will be announced during the Rematec show in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, on 14 June 2015.
Instituted in 2005, the Remanufacturer of the Year award honours an individual or business that has served the automotive or heavy duty reman industry with distinction. Candidates can be nominated by anyone, including themselves.
Previous winners comprise a series of prominent leaders in the field of remanufacturing over the past eight years. The winner in 2014 was Jack Stack, President of SLR, Springfield, Missouri, who received the award in recognition of his pioneering performance at the helm of one of the world’s largest reman companies.
The panel of judges currently consists of Volker Schittenhelm, FIRM; Fernand Weiland, APRA’s European Division; Doug Wolma, Global Operations and Remanufacturing, Dana Corporation and William Schwarck, Editor-in-Chief, Rematec News.
Judging criteria are technical excellence, dedication to quality and innovation as well as impact on the reman industry. Other factors taken into consideration include outstanding customer service, pioneering activities and commitment to the cause and promotion of automotive and heavy duty remanufacturing.
Parties interested in submitting nominations will find the terms and conditions and an application form at www.rematec.com. All nominations must be received by May 15 and will be assessed by the judges in June. The winner will be announced at the industry reception on 14 June, the opening day of Rematec 2015.
