- June 03, 2015
On 16th and 17th June, leading representatives from industry and science will come together at Amsterdam RAI, the Netherlands, for the fourth World Remanufacturing Summit. The Summit will coincide with the 2015 ReMaTec show, the reman industry’s leading exhibition.
"The Summit will provide a unique platform for sharing visions, missions and experiences among market leaders and innovation pioneers," says Conference Chairman, Professor Rolf Steinhilper of Bayreuth University, Germany. "Focus will be on enhancing technological know how by listening to both large multinational players and to the small and medium size enterprises who are key drivers of the booming remanufacturing industry."
The Summit comprises high level presentations by leading experts of the remanufacturing industry from the world´s major remanufacturing regions. Established by Bayreuth University, Rochester Institute of Technology in New York and The National Key Laboratory for Remanufacturing in Beijing, this year’s Summit returns to Europe after events in Shanghai and Rochester in 2013 and 2014.
This Summit intends to go beyond a comprehensive overview of state-of-the-art remanufacturing technology and business development, the organisers say. It will also deal with critical questions and even controversial key factors regarding strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in the remanufacturing industry.
