New Chairman of APRA Asia Pacific

Joseph Chow has accepted senior leadership position as Asia Pacific Chairman at APRA, APRA has announced. He will be a member of the APRA Executive Team, and based in Shanghai.
Mr. Chow will be covering the responsibilities in the region for expanding the APRA footprint, developing strategic partnerships, enhancing international reman networking and supporting industrial growth.
Mr. Joseph Chow comes to this role with a wealth of experience in remanufacturing commercial development, operations management, and government relations. He has held various international leadership positions in successful global companies like Caterpillar and Cummins in the Asia Pacific region. He joins APRA from Caterpillar, where his last role at Caterpillar reman was General Manager, leading the largest remanufacturing joint venture in Asia Pacific market. His ability to work closely with Chinese OEMs at all levels has created significant expansion and growth opportunities, edging out competitors while working through internal improvement in operations and sincere interest in solving customer problems. As a result, under Mr. Chow’s leadership, the JV business was doubled in sales growth and also recognized by China National Government as one of top performers in the Chinese remanufacturing industry with government award.
Prior to his recent role, Mr. Chow has worked other leadership positions at Cummins Corporation as General Manager for China Reman Business, Director of Operations Strategy, and Channel Development Manager.
Joseph Chow holds dual master degrees in MBA and Industrial Engineering Management. Mr. Chow is also a licensed American Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
