Omar Cueto new Chairman of APRA

Omar Cueto, the owner of Florida-based L&J Diesel Service was elected Chairman of APRA, the Automotive Remanufacturers Association, at its meeting in Las Vegas on November 1.
A member of APRA’s board since 2010, Omar Cueto has, over the past 20 years, created a thriving business in his home town of Jacksonville specializing in a variety of diesel services, including innovative fuel injection test equipment for the aftermarket. He has multiple patents for instrumentation, including fiber optics for testing common rail injectors.
In addition to his duties at L&J Diesel Service, Cueto is a frequent writer, editorial contributor and presenter who addresses issues affecting the diesel injector marketplace, the future of remanufacturing and green technology. Cueto is also an active participant in the “Right to Repair” campaign and has represented the industry in Washington D.C.
