The global remanufacturing industry re-connected through AI-powered networking at Rematec Live & Connected

Thursday, 22 April 2021

Yorien de Ruijter, Director of Rematec, presents the new addition to the Rematec brand portfolio. Rematec Live & Connected will be held on Thursday 20 May 2021 and is a virtual event, live broadcasted from the RAI Studio's in Amsterdam and powered with AI networking tools to re-connect the global remanufacturing industry.

De Ruijter explains "Responding to the need to re-connect and collaborate in today’s remanufacturing industry, Rematec is excited to present Rematec: Live & Connected, a new virtual production for the global remanufacturing community. On Thursday 20 May 2021 the event will be broadcasted from two studio’s at RAI Amsterdam with 4 stages and 20+ speakers and keynotes. The conference theme 'The remanufacturing industry from now until 2050' is tapping into recent developments as well as future trends and challenges."

AI powered connections

Rematec Live & Connected works with a leading AI powered event matchmaking platform. It has robust virtual event features to connect exhibitors and visitors through quality interactions. The platform uses natural language processing, advanced algorithms and deep neural networks to constantly learn about the attending professionals goals and interests. It will be avaliable for exhibitors from the beginning of May and will open 1-2 weeks in advance of the event for visitors and stays available for networking one month after the event. The AI powered networking tool allows matching, chatting and setting (video) appointments, before, during and after the event between speakers, representatives of exhibitors and visiting delegates.

Early adopters

In every industry there are organisations who are early adopters and supportive of new initiatives. Rematec Live & Connected got early support from Coremannet, SLTurbo, and associations CLEPA, APRA , MERA and Re:Create on their efforts to be reaching out to re-connect the remanufacturing industry again. "More and more exhibitors join each day, because they see the advantages of being able to present themselves as an industry export on one of the 4 virtual stages in combination with the full stack networking tools" says De Ruijter. "We train the exhibitors to make optimal use of the matchmaking features. A feature I like a lot is the 'After Talks' tool. It enables the exhibiting speaker to meet up with their viewing delegates after their online session. They can have discussions, answer questions and simply see that person eye-to-eye! It transforms 'viewers' into 'visitors' and quality conversations and connections are facilitated."

Visitors instead of viewers

Visitors are encouraged to fill out their professional profile in the weeks before the event starts. From that moment on, they can start requesting meetings, highlight their programme items they want to visit and receive notifications when live broadcasting starts. The platform stays open 4 weeks after the event as well, so all attendees have enough time to re-connect and make new meeting requests.

A (virtual) look on the remanufacturing industry

Via the newly launched website www.rematec.com/live-and-connected exhibitors find information about participation and visitors are able to benefit from the early bird offer valid in April with the registration code REM21001. Because the event has a completely new set-up, Yorien de Ruijter and Kim Buitelaar-Wollenberg are available to consult marketing managers and CEO's on how to reach implement Rematec Live & Connected into their marketing mix. The conference programme can be found here.
