Asia will be a great asset for international remanufacturing organisations looking to enter the Chinese remanufacturing market. We now see opportunities in the Chinese domestic remanufacturing market because of multiple reasons. Sustainability is taken seriously by the Central Government. There have been substantial investments in remanufacturing zones like Lingang (Shanghai area), Wuzhou (Guangxi Province), Hejian (Hebei Province) and of course Guangzhou (Guangdong Province). As the domestic remanufacturing industry is getting towards maturity, there will be a vast demand for cleaning-, machining and diagnostic equipment, know-how and core management solutions. These are clear opportunities for the Rematec customer base in Europe and North America.
The remanufacturing of auto parts is an important part of promoting the circular economy in China, and has already become an industry with a promising future. We need a comprehensive international platform to see what’s going on in the industry.
Co-located with AAG
The event will be co-located with Auto Aftermarket Guangzhou (AAG), the largest exhibition for automotive aftermarket in South East China with 20.000+ visitors and 1300 exhibitors.
Guangzhou Automotive Industry
China is currently the world’s largest automotive producer, while Guangzhou is the major automobile production base and export base in China, and has obvious advantages of an industry cluster.
Guangzhou is home to the Guangzhou Automobile Industry Group Co Ltd, a Chinese state-owned joint stock holding company that owns several Chinese automakers and one of the largest vehicle manufacturers in China. GAIG has partnerships with Fiat, Honda, Isuzu, Mitsubishi, and Toyota. These partnerships allow it to produce foreign-branded products for sale in China.
