The torque converter is a part of the automatic transmission and tends to live a hard life during the life cycle of a car. Weighing in at approximately 15kg, it is one of the heaviest individual parts of an automatic transmission.
It consists of several different metal alloys, which makes traditional scrapping and recycling somewhat complicated. This is one of the reasons why remanufactured products are so much better for the environment.

Tailor-made logistics solutions
In addition to the remanufacturing service, our corporate group also offers services related to core handling and components logistics. We offer various service levels. We can help our customers’ device an entire return system, including the complete freight chain (with control of incoming cores, setting criteria, storing and monitoring the cores and, off cause, loading/offloading). In other cases, we simply store cores pending remanufacture. It all depends on our customers’ individual needs.
