Co-engineered by Fersa, SEG Automotive re-manufactures high voltage drive units on an industrial scale in its European production facilities.
The quality of the returned unit cores is strictly controlled, and defective parts are permanently repaired with better solutions. E.g., the original bearings are replaced with improved ones, the coolant quench is modified to prevent penetration of liquid.
The reuse of many components saves resources and allows a significant cost advantage over OES units.

SEG Automotive manufactures the 48V Boost Recuperation Machine (BRM), a low voltage starter generator, for OE and aftermarket. It is an easy-to-implement mild-hybridization solution.
Its name stands for the main basic functions, BOOST – short electric acceleration support, and RECUPERATION – energy recovery during braking, which allow for CO2 savings of up to 15% (real world).
