MERA-Golisano panel to deliver Industry Insight

The Motor & Equipment Remanufacturers Association (MERA) and the Golisano Institute for Sustainability will bring together industry leaders at the MERA-Golisano Remanufacturing and Sustainability Conference on Sept. 30 in Troy, Mich.

The Industry Outlook and Insight Panel will feature Paul Traub, business economist, Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. As an expert on the economy, Traub will set the stage for a compelling discussion, MERA announced.

Gary Meteer, director commercial solutions, IHS Automotive, will provide his firm’s insight on trends in the commercial vehicle aftermarket. A representative from Experian Automotive is scheduled to address trends in the automotive aftermarket. Paul McCarthy, Senior Vice President, Strategy, Planning & Information Services, MEMA, will also return as the session moderator.

The agenda will feature other valuable and timely panel discussions:

  • Inspiring Innovation from the C-Suite: Product, Process and Partnership
  • Thermal Spraying in Remanufacturing: Past, Present and Future
  • Remanufacturing: The Future of Manufacturing
  • Creating Value in the Remanufacturing Industry

Jack Stack, founder, president, and CEO of SRC Holdings Corporation, will deliver a keynote address and discuss the importance of people in the industry, as well as the social benefit of people in manufacturing.

This year’s conference, “Remanufacturing: The Future of Manufacturing,” seeks to link remanufacturing with an organization’s overall sustainability strategy, raise awareness about the contributions of the remanufacturing industry, and offers excellent networking opportunities.
